While traveling down I90, a warning sign informed us of a Wyo county road being closed, and I thought maybe the extra letter was a typo because everyone knows State abbreviations are two letters. Until I saw Wyo on billboards and painted on glass pane doors in Sheridan.
Now, instead of Wyoming being just a western state I am beginning to think think of them of them as a little bit as an outlaw or a rebel state. Apparently, not everyone wanted to be WY.
While in Sheridan Wyoming we stayed at Peter D’s RV park which was walking distance realm downtown Sheridan. The cost was $37 plus tax for full hookups.
Peter D’s also gave us a coupon for free Fried Green Tomatoes, stuffed with crab meat and blue cheese. At the Rib and Chop House on Main Street. The food was delicious.
We also took in the sites going to the famous Sheridan Hotel, the Mint Bar, the local breweries (Smith Alley, Luminous Brewery and Blacktooth Brewery)along with Koltiska Distillery.
