They (others who retired before me) said, “I always wake up early even though I don’t have to…”
So I thought I would have all this time, but they were wrong I sleep in later and later…and with no sense of urgency.
I don’t get much done, I thought I would be in great shape with all the time In the world to exercise.
I thought I would get a lot of writing done, but I don’t.
And when I get to the end of the day and someone asks, “what did you do?”
I have no idea where all my time went.
Which isn’t a bad thing because being retired means I don’t have to get up to go to work and can spend the next day trying to find out where my time has gone.
They were right about having more time to travel and we have been enjoying life in our camper and in furnished rentals.
Which is bringing us new opportunities and experiences. Because they say you’re never too old to learn.
I do believe people change and I believe 2017 will see me being more productive.
I just don’t know if it will be more time sleeping, writing, exercising or traveling.
